Recruiting Web Application
For this project, I designed and created a web application to allow recruiters to
contact college students and recent graduates. College students could register and provide
basic information on their college, major, degree and desired job location. Employers could
then register on the site and search for potential candiates via these criteria. When employers found
candidates that matched their criteria, they could contact the candidates through the site. No
personally identifiable information about the candidate was visible to potential employers, unless
the candidate replied to the contact form the company and provided that information.
Technical highlights included:
- Inclusion of ASP.NET AJAX to improve the web user experience.
- Use of caching to support future scalability.
